Get to Know our Team of Rider Coaches
After taking his first MSF Basic Rider Course in 2007 and becoming convinced of the effectiveness of the program, Eric became certified by MSF and the Georgia Department of Driver Services Motorcycle Safety Program as a Rider Coach in 2008. The following year Eric was certified by Harley-Davidson Rider’s Edge Academy of Motorcycling and did an internship at Harley-Davidson of Atlanta under the guidance of 2011 AHRMA World and national MiddleWeight Superbike Racing Champion,
Chris Carr. In late 2011 Eric opened GeorgiaMotorcycleRiders.com in Fayette County, Georgia and regularly teaches new rider and experienced rider classes.
Eric has owned several motorcycles during the past few years, but his primary motorcycle is a 2003 100th Anniversary Edition, Harley-Davidson, Fatboy.
Bob rode his first motorcycle, a Honda 300, in 1974 and has enjoyed the feeling of the open air and freedom ever since. He has been employed at TravelPort since1992 as a Server Engineer. Bob and his wife CJ have been married for 26 years and they have 2 daughters Michelle & Alexis.
Bob has always enjoyed riding but took a few years off to raise a family. For his 50th birthday his wife bought him a 99 Yamaha Roadstar and they ride as often as possible with a teenager at home.
Bob completed the BRC and learned that after all his years of riding he could still learn something new. This got him interested in getting his Georgia MSF RiderCoach Certification. He is looking forward to instructing new riders on how to ride safely.

Don has been riding since 1973. His first motorcycle was a 1953 Harley Davidson Panhead. He stopped riding for a few years while raising his three children, but is now back in the saddle. He has eight grand kids.
Don
is serving as district coordinator for ABATE of GA, District 6. He enjoys riding long trips and uses his bike as primary transportation. After owning several motorcycles including a 1987 Harley classic, 2002 1200 Sportster, and a 1958 Harley chopper, he currently owns a 2006 Harley Road Glide.
In 2006 Don completed the BRC and recently achieved his Georgia and MSF instructors certification. He hopes as a MSF instructor he can help future riders start their adventure safely and enjoyably.

De Carroll is a life long motorcyclist, starting out riding a scooter a year before buying his 1st new motorcycle, a brand new red 1954 Harley-Davidson. That bike was his and his wife’s transportation when he married at age 19. Family came 1st and motorcycling was always a family interest, having taught all 3 kids as well as all 5 (legal riding age) grandkids to ride and get their motorcycle license. De once worked, part time, as a motorcycle technician for Sears and Roebuck and is currently a Certified Honda Motorcycle Technician. He retired at age 57 in 1995 and became a MSF certified instructor in 1996. De currently owns 6 motorcycles and rides around 20 thousand miles a year. He says that there are so many good roads to ride in Georgia, Tennessee and North Carolina that he will never ride them all, but he’s still trying. His favorite saying is, “It Doesn’t Have To Make Sense”.
